Diego Velazquez, A white horse, ca. 1634-35

The Shoulder In: This lesson produces at the same time such good effects that we contemplate it as the first one and the last of all those that can be given to the horse to make him acquire a perfect flexibility and freedom in all his parts.

Lucy is a very athletic mare, with a huge amount of personality. She has been in training with Michael Godding in Yass for 12 months and has established shoulder-in and travers, and is confident in walk-to-canter transitions. A beautiful mare, easy to ride and exceptionally trainable, she is ready to take out and compete.

ACE assessment 27th January 2010:

We had Lucy assessed by Gerd Küst as a three year old. Lucy recieved 74.5% for conformation, and 70.5% for movement - her movement being impaired by a recent injury. We will have her reassessed next year.

Comments: Nice type, nice faced mare, long legged, nice walk, could have a lot more swing and impulsion in trot and canter.
